our media and our leaders

Dr haneef was on his way back to his home town from australia...
all the channels looked to it that he was their main story...
he received a warm(actually warm is not the right word, it diminishes the hype created) welcome by the people of India.
i seriously doubt if the India cricket team would have got such a glorious welcome had they won the world cup and returned.(no offence meant)
well probably after having such a bad time he deserved a warm welcome from his family(but such a media hype was foolish).

few days later "the garden city of India" had to receive one more person(i dont know if i can say so). Colonel Vasanth had laid his life, protecting his fellow country men and his fellow solders.
he surely was received mournfully, but only by his dear ones and other solders(and may be reporters eagerly waiting to get a selling story)...
no leaders have yet come to console the family(as per the media report)...
probably his family would not even care for what the leaders had to say or what masala/selling story the media would make out of his death.
but still... the least our leaders could do was meet the family and console them...

Colonel Vasanth you are a true son of Mother India. every true Indian is proud of you.
